Product introduction of oil cover for plastic trucks
Although the oil cover for plastic trucks is a small part, it is a key barrier to ensure the safety of the engine oil circuit. This oil cap, designed for heavy-duty trucks, is centered on "reliable sealing, weather-resistant and fabric-resistant, and has a wide range of adaptations". It uses precision technology and high-quality materials to protect long-distance transportation.
The material is made of military-grade reinforced nylon 66, and 30% glass fiber is added to the base resin, with a tensile strength of 85MPa, and a hardness far exceeding ordinary plastics. After 120℃ high temperature continuous testing for 72 hours, it does not deform or soften, and it is completely resistant to the high temperature environment of the engine compartment; in the -40℃ low temperature impact test, it still maintains an elastic deformation capacity of 20% to avoid the risk of brittle cracking in severe cold weather in the north. The surface is treated with a special oil-proof coating to resist corrosion of chemicals such as engine oil, diesel, etc., and remains sealed after long-term contact with oil stains and will not swell or crack.
Sealing performance is the core competitiveness. The contact surface between the cover and the oil filling port is designed with a double-layer silicone sealing ring: the diameter of the inner main sealing ring is accurately matched with the filling port thread, and the compression amount is controlled between 0.8-1.2mm to ensure a tight fit and seamless gap. The outer secondary sealing ring forms a secondary protection. Even if the main sealing ring suffers minor wear due to long-term use, it can still block the oil steam leakage and reduce the accumulation of sludge in the cabin. The spiral pattern adopts a 60° trapezoidal tooth design, and the meshing depth with the filling thread reaches 2.5mm. It generates uniform radial force when tightening, avoiding loosening caused by bumps in the road and ensuring that it remains sealed during driving.
Adaptability covers mainstream heavy truck models. For common truck engine models such as Jiefang J7, Dongfeng Tianlong, Foton Oman, and Heavy Truck Howo, 12 specifications of interface sizes are provided, and the thread parameters from M38×1.5 to M52×2 are accurately matched. There is no need to modify during installation, and it can be manually tightened, without special tools. The hex wrench position design on the top of the cover body is adapted to the standard wrench in the vehicle tool box. It can be easily disassembled and maintained when the seal ring needs to be replaced when it is aging, reducing maintenance costs.
Detailed design hides safety ingenuity. The top integrated air permeable valve device is used. When the engine is running, the trace pressure generated in the oil circuit can be slowly released through the check valve to avoid seal failure caused by excessive internal pressure; and when the vehicle is tilted or bumped, the air permeable valve will automatically close to prevent oil from spilling out. The surface is knurled to increase hand friction and can be easily screwed even when wearing heavy gloves to avoid lax seals caused by slippage. There is a red warning ring on the edge of the cover body, which forms a color contrast with the yellow mark on the filling port, reminding the driver to quickly identify whether it is installed in place during inspection.
Durability is strictly verified. Passed the 100,000-fold tightening-loosening cycle test, the thread has no slip wire and the sealing ring has no permanent deformation; after the 3000-hour salt spray test, the metal inserts (some models include grounding metal sheets) have no rust, ensuring that the anti-static function of the conductive oil cover is effective for a long time.
